Tax Agent Obligations

As a registered tax agent, which is a provider of tax services, Taxpoint Accounting Pty Ltd has the following obligations under the Tax Agents Services Act 2009:

To advise our current and prospective clients of matters that could significantly influence their decision to engage us in the provision of our services, which they would not otherwise be aware of. We are not aware of any such matters.

To notify all current and prospective clients that the Tax Practitioner’s Board maintains a register of tax agents and BAS agents, which is available on the TPB’s website at https://www.tpb.gov.au/home.

To make all current and prospective clients aware that if they have any complaints regarding our services that they may lodge a complaint either directly with us, in the first term or alternatively with the TPB via the TPB website online complaints facility at https://www.tpb.gov.au/complaints, which must be in writing and can be lodged online.
